Olivia Howard, MSW
Olivia is a Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern trained and experienced in providing individual and group counseling. Olivia takes a trauma-informed approach to treating clients and draws on the following treatment approaches: Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy Interventions, Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy; and Motivational Interviewing.
Prior to working at A New Dawn A New Beginning, Olivia provided case management services, as well as trauma-informed counseling, with individuals involved in the criminal justice system.
Fun Fact: “Before I got into social work, I was a journalist, which included a 4-year stint as a crime reporter at a South Florida newspaper.”
